Care to post your tuning params? I live near by with a 1600 and have just about given up on QAM. Or PM me and I'll send you my e-mail address.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I've read though this thread pretty well but I may have missed something. Upon swapping the nativeutilities.dll in gbpvr main folder, and the qam.ini under ATSC folder, I try to map the channels. I get this message.
Method not found: 'Boolean NativeUtilities.BDARecorder.ServiceIsEncrypted(Int32)'. See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Boolean NativeUtilities.BDARecorder.ServiceIsEncrypted(Int32)'. at Config.Plugins.x501d1ffea8b79320.x692a1118e1794d77(Object xdf2e3583f942db7b, EventArgs xc4f45905cb1fc7ba) at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.OnTick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.TimerNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) I've tried all the qam.ini files in this thread, and so far none have yielded results. I'll attach the log files as well. If anyone had any idea what the problem is, I would be very grateful. Thank You! Just to add. I have gotten QAM working in VMC, Just to try it out. I hate it, but it does work, so i know QAM works.

I've got a weird situation with my 1600. I do the scan, I get some channels that actually have the label correct, but when I select it I just get a blank screen. Has anyone experienced this? I have a 1600 on another machine and the same exact config works good, except that it's XP and the problem one is Vista.

The video window in the config app can be unreliable if the first channel it tried to preview was an encrypted channel, which can happen with QAM. Probably best to try it in Live TV if you can.

It's happening in WinTV also. It finds the channels, but I can't watch them - they are dark. I believe it may be a codec thing? If it is, are there any recommendations? I'm pretty upset because this works just fine on my old xp machine and it did the first try too.

I just used the qam.STD.ini file since I heard it works best for Comcast and was able to pick up other stations that I never could before, One of them being FSN West for some reason, Since I'm from Hialeah, FL, Why would they send out an unecrypted HD signal of FSN West instead of FSN East? I would love to watch my home team's games in HD.

Never mind, It turns out someone was watching a game via the On Demand GameHD channel.
