is the next release going to include the "start on second monitor" checkbox? it seems like most people are able to get it working, and it would be a shame to "remove" functionality Smile

Sorry, I dont know then. I've not seen any other mentions of this, so I'm guessing there is something on your machine which is interferring with which monitor GB-PVR starts on.

Yes, the checkbox is visible again in the next release.

I do seem to have a problem on my secondary display.
It works ok but not for dvd playback. Some dvd's just appear black and when they do work they stutter sometime with pans.
I have a GForce 7300 with npure drivers on XP as default for dvd's.
The problems are only on my second display (tv) and not on the primary display.

After I downloaded the patch to start on the second monitor and extraced the zip file, I was unable to execute pvrx2.exe Does anyone have any idea what I might have done wrong? I previously downloaded 1.0.8 but I have been using the old version as my second monitor is the TV.

You're supposed to place any patch file(s) in the GB-PVR directory, replacing the old ones with the same name.

Thank you very much for your promptness and your patience. You were very intuitive in figuring out what I didn't know. With respect to the version of 1.0.8 that follows the old format, I have noticed that it seems to work better (some unexplained crashes no longer happening, etc.). I look forward to trying the new version.

Just want to say that 2nd monitor is working fine for me with this file.
about 8% CPU usage for playback and menus with a Nvidia 6600GT and Intel P4

Thanks for the quick fix
