Hi all

I have an Asus M2A-VM HDMI motherbooard with the AMD 690G graphics.
I am using a Hauppaugee PVR150MCE for Live TV an recordings
With the new PVRX2 Live TV stutters if I use encoder-pass-trhough enabled.
Doesn't matter if I try with overlay, VMR9 or FSE, LiveTv stutters in all modes.
If I disable encoder-pass-through, Live TV runs smoothly, but the I get lip-sync problems after a while.

With old GBPVR LiveTV works fine with encoder-pass-through enabled.

I'm using Cyberlink PowerDVD6 video and audio decoder.

Anyone having similar problems with PVR150 ?
Best Regards

The new version only uses VMR9 Custom, it doesn't matter what you set it to in the config. What were you using in the old GBPVR?

My guess is that your onboard video isn't quite up to the task of rendering in VMR9.

Similar problem here - PVR150MCE and Inno3D GEForce FX550 / 128MB RAM.

With Encoder Passthrough in VMR9, live TV often stutters (almost strobes) in fast movement scenes, and if I change channels rapidly about 10 times and then leave it on a channel, the video gradually lags the audio until there's over a second between them.

I got around this by either disabling live preview mode, or by setting deinterlacing to None (or ffdshow) rather than Encoder Passthrough. I also find VMR9 Custom is better than VMR9.

On my setup, it does it on every codec combiantion I've tried (and I've tried a lot!) I suspect it's the video decoder / graphics card not keeping up with the audio decoder / renderer- don't know why it works on recordings and buffered live tv though.
