both cards here (TerraTec Cinergy S2 PCI HD and Technotrend TT connect S-2400 usb ) are doing well with current bda-drivers on my windows server 2003 out of the box.

I just recently switched my server from SLES 10 to Windows Server 2003. My goal is to have this system do all recordings, etc, and then to have PCs and an NMT as clients.

Typically I record in DVR-MS format, since this gives me the least problems. However, it appears that Windows 2003 Server does not have support for this mux built into it like XP does. Does anyone know if there is something I can download and install to get this capability?

I'm not sure if you are aware of the /console or /admin switch. This will give you the console in terminal service and not a separate TS logon session.

in the address to connect to, just put servername /Console or Servername /admin (depending on the version of your TS client)
(you must have a recent version of the terminal services client.)

I managed this on mine. You have to copy a couple of dll files across from the system32 dir of an XP box and register them with regsvr32. I can't remember the exact filenames, but a quick google search should come up trumps.

i downloaded and installed the 1.3.11 and installed it on my server 2003 domain controller and as far as the sw goes, it seems to work. I ordered the Hauppaugh 1600 tonight and i am hoping this hw will treat my server right... anyone with this configuration? any issues?.
I already installed directX9c and maximized the Video Acceleration... all i really want out of this is to watch tv while I work on my 32" plasma monitor.
