Try uninstalling your BDA tuner card driver and reinstalling it.

I tried everything and to resolve this but could not find a solution. I ended up doing a factory restore since its a new computer and not much data on it.

So now GB-PVR can find all the channels with the scan but I now have no sound ? I tried different audio playback options but nothing seems to work.

Does anyone know what I may be missing. It is a fresh vista install.

Thanks in advance.

I tried that still no sound. Great picture. I reregistered the filters updated my tv card drivers and its a new install of vista home premium. I am using ATI 650 theater pro and realtek audio. I have attached the logs.

Don't have any other ideas of what to try.

if you play the file back in vlc media player(good for testing files) does it have sound
if you dont have that any other media player

doing that to establish if its recording sound

The most likely means it'll be solved by selecting a different audio decoder/renderer option in the config app.

I installed Windows Essentials Media Codec Pack and that solved my problem.

Thanks to all who responded.
