I am a relative newbie to pvr's and programming and am at a loss as to why I have been unable to get live TV up and running with my capture cards. I am not familiar with most of the acronyms and the Wiki GUI's do not represent what I currently have installed which is the latest iteration of GB-PVR.
Everything installs ok but when I try to tune channels, I get error boxes coming up. Live TV tells me that I haven't set up the BDA. I am hoping that I do not have to be connected to the internet perpetually to have this program function as this would be very impracticable.
System consists of :
Asus M2A-VM HDMI motherboard
AMD 6000+ CPU
4 GB Ram
2 x Dvico Fusion HDTV DVB-T Plus capture cards
2 x Pioneer DVD burners
I cannot be too far away from a working unit and the answer is probably staring me in the face but I could use some help. Hopefully the zipped log files that I have uploaded may shed some light.

What device type did you select when you setup your capture source?

Can you run filtercheck.exe form the GB-PVR directory, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log that gets created?

Thanks for the reply but after some perseverance and the removal of one capture card, GB-PVR appears to be functioning. Both cards are fully working units as I am using the other card in another computer which is working just fine. In response to your question, I had configured both cards as Dvico Fusion HDTV DVB-T plus with type as DVB-T. My concern is now - is the software capable of supporting two identical Dvico Fusion HDTV DVB-T plus cards? Am I meant to install these cards, one after the other setting up the software individually, or should I be able to install both cards simultaneously and individually configure the cards as I have tried to do previously? BTW, I am using XP Professional SP2.
Question - How can I remove the windows top and bottom task bars when watching live tv in full screen mode?

I cant think of any reason why not. It treats all DVB-T cards the same, and is certainly able to use multiple identical DVB-T cards from other manufacturers, so unless there is some limitation in the dvico drivers then it should work.

It shouldnt matter. Either should be ok.

Press Alt-Enter to switch to fullscreen mode.
