I have the ATI Theater 550 and it has an external composite video and audio ports. Is there a way to use GB to watch what is connected to that external port? I am sure someone has asked this before but in searching I cannot find a good answer.
Thanks

You need to setup another capture source, for the ATI's composite input. Set the EPG to 'none', and manually create a channel called something like 'AV1' or 'Composite' or similar. It'll then show up like any other channel.

I created another capture source using the same capture device1 as the ATI tuner. I set that one to COMP, Direct Recording Plugin, No EPG, no Channel Changer. Both sources are using the capture device 1 as the hardware.

In the Reording source I set the source as Composite External Tuner and I created a channel.

After doing the EPG updates I see the additional channel "comp" in the channels list but I am unable to access it. I am still missing something.

Try using the that channel in live tv, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

That log doesnt show any attempt to access the composite port on the ATI card, so either you chose the wrong channels, or when you setup your capture source you didnt choose the 'composite' input in the recording source settings.
