Hi

I remember reading something about this, but cannot find it again now.

When I playback an HD recording the timeline is out by a multiple of approx 6x. (SD recordings show the correct time.)

The recording I took this screenshot from is about 1h 3 m, not 6h 29m.

It plays at the right speed and the only noticeable issue is with skip forward/backwards, which for obvious reasons skip a much shorter time than they should.

Any ideas? Is it something perculiar to me, or is this something others?

Thanks

Hi,
This patch is included in the latest GBPVR, no? I'm running the latest GBPVR and when I get a lot of interference in the recordings (it was incredibly windy last night) my timeline still gets completely out of wack.
I'm in the US, with two Hauppauge ATSC cards.
I've tried DScaler, ATI MPEG DECODER, the standard MPEG DECODER, and Cyberlink and none of them fix this problem with bad recordings. Is this something I just have to live with?

could it possibly help to switch to "Full TS" vs. "TS Mux?" What is the difference?

You need to be using 'TS Mux'. 'Full TS' is just for producing debug full transport stream files (huge files).

I wonder if I'm barking up the wrong tree thinking that the Video Decoder might change this behavior.
Does it even make sense that a glitchy recording would get a screwed up Timeline?
