Mmmmm, also when I try to run the tuning assistant the whole system hangs.
Btw, the tv-card is a ATI 550 Pro with drivers for Vista.

That'll be driver related. Most likely either the capture device or display device.

When I schedule a recording via the web-interface, the recording service records but it's just pink noise when I try to play it back. I'll try that particular hardware setup with XP-SP3 (installing right now) just to see if the hw is up to it.

Edit:
I can now confirm that the HW setup works fine under XP-SP3, so it IS a windows7 problem. But W7 is still a beta, so maybe later :p

Think I may have solved the mystery of the "empty directory not deleted" problem (well worked out why it happens anyway).

I've checked a few of the undeleted "empty" directories and allthough they look empty, the properties for each shows there's 1 file present.

It seems that if you look in the directory at any time with Windows explorer, it creates a hidden "Thumbs" file so subsequently when GBPVR deletes the recording, it doesn't delete the diretory because of this hidden file.

Is there any way GBPVR could be told to ignore the "Thumbs" file?

Regards

Ray.

Ok, for the next release I'll have it automatically delete the thumbs.db if its the only file in the directory, before then preceeding to delete the directory.
