Windows 7 issues

To be honest, I'm not that interested in looking at client/server problems at this stage. Its got a few bugs in this functionality, particularly relating to live tv, and I intend revisit it some time in the near future. You should fare a bit better with playback of recordings though.

b) I have this problem with PC#2. I can prevent it by increasing Live TV buffer time to 8000ms.
c) Changing channels with PC#2 sometime creates the same behavior. Once again, increasing Live TV buffer time to 8000ms seems to prevent it.

For now you'll probably need to leave it set it to 8000ms if that works.

Hello,

some news, after using GBPVR with 9 seconds delay for one year:
- I replaced my laptop. The old one was starting to be too slow for me, I'm on SSD and I can't stand a slow computer anymore The new laptop had the same problem, but it was better, I reduced the time to 6 seconds and it was for most of the time working fine.
- Then, 3 weeks ago, I switched to a 802.11n router. My laptop got a wireless n card. I get 6 MB/s and now I'm able to use the "Streaming" mode. I reduced the time to 1 second and it works well.

I'm still unable to do that when using my netgear XAV Ethernet-wall adapter (2.5 MB/s), so I conclude that for GBPVR with Windows 7, you need 3 or 4 MB/s for client mode.
