I can't figure out what share name to put in the EditMe in the telnet.html file.

My share is located on c:\mvpmc

The computer name is Bohr.

Just got the PCH so please don't mock if I'm a bit behind Wink

With that said: I can do the network share, browse MSHOME (the workgroup) browse BOHR; then click mvpmc

I saw in another thread you could use BOHR:mvpmc so I tried that and tried to hit it over the network (http://192.168.1.105:8883/NETWORK_SHARE/...elnet.html) and got a 404 error. So then I went into setup and added a network share and called it gbpvr so now on my sources menu I have one called gbpvr.

So I tried replacing BOHR:mvpmc with gbpvr and still 404 error.

Help (p.s. i can't use the installer because I already have gbpvr running and tweaked.)

The thread shows how to find the name to use for "EditMe"

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=40394

The NMTInstall would have worked, just untick most of the options. Telnet.htm isn't even used anymore, you really should be using GB-PVR.html and gbpvr.cgi they are much easier to work with.

I'll make a backup and switch to NMTInstall.

Thanks for the quick response

Your probably going to have the same problem if the name is wrong. NMTInstall will use BOHR:mvpmc if that is what it finds but my bet is you didn't use that on the PCH. An easy solution on the PCH is to remove the mvpmc share and then re-add it but DON'T fill the name field. The PCH software should then default it to the same name NMTInstall uses. Afterwards you can change both setting to match.

Also not if you test with the Network Browser method you will have to power off to reset to use the mvpmc share method.

Thanks for that; definitely headed off that problems.

Its working now, now just to test it and make sure it'll keep working.
