Hello,

I had everything working perfectly on my PCH (no internal drive).

I did the firmware update using the link on PCH itself, now it won't let me run any of the .cgi scripts. I can get the html file up, but when I run the scripts it jumps straight to

"request cannot be processed"

Is this a known problem?

Thanks

I've been running the latest firmware since it was in beta test without issues.
If you are running Vista you might want to check the notes in the survival guide on using root rather than guest to login (without changing the Windows share).

I'm using a valid user and password. When I had the root/guest problem the error was quite different.

It seems that the PCH doesn't even want to run the script. Also, nothing else changed on the network/scripts except the firmware update

I have the same problem.

Anyone know what's going on?

You might need to delete the share and then re-create the mvpmc share from the Network Share screen on the PCH, especially if you were using usernames and passwords before.

That was only a guess anyway, some people did lose share access after the firmware update. All I can really say is I really don't think it is the PCH firmware so you need to redo the steps on the survival guide (as guest) from the beginning and see what changed.

Sorry, my problem was actually the root problem when I added the mount for DVD isos.

That'll teach me.
Had it all set up just about working last night - got GBPVR menus up.
Then I updated firmware this morning and now I can't run the scripts either.
Will start checking everything but as I had made no changes before updating the firmware I can't see where the problem might be. Guest account is on, firewall is off.
I can run telnet.html but as soon as I select either Telnet or GBPVR I get the 'Request cannot be processed' error.
MADAS -did you solve this?
This is as it was when it worked last night:
Code:
<a href="http://localhost.drives:8883///b2it-pvr3:mvpmc/script.cgi">Telnetd</a>
<BR>
<a href="http://localhost.drives:8883///b2it-pvr3:mvpmc/gbpvr.cgi">GB-PVR</a>

Will try fiddling tonight but if anyone has any ideas.....

I've been upgrading and downgrading firmware for a few months before I release mvpmcx2 without issue. Your probably is probably the format /// instead of /[SMB]%20 documented in the survival guide.
