I've seen this twice in the last couple of days. When using the pause key to pause a recording for a time longer than my hibernate time for the server - the server hibernates. This upsets the PCH and recovery is a bit hit and miss how much needs doing.

I'm sure it didn't use to do this in the past and I'm sure I used to leave it in pause for half an hour or so without the server nodding off.

The above with PCH in PCH2 mode if that has any bearing on it.

regards

Many thanks for that sub - I'm curious if it was introduced with the PCH tweaks? I can't recall having seen it happen before?...

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I do see the server going to sleep during pause, but apart from this, I can never get it to hibernate / standby when GBPVR has focus.

If I have another window open on top of gbpvr, it goes to sleep, but if gbpvr on top - it sits there forever. Is there anything which would cause this?
(it happens on both machines)

try turning off the time display on main page...i believe that's what keeps it from going to sleep, updating the time display gets counted as 'activity' by windows..

I'm afraid to say it has done it again this evening.

1st time pause used for more thana few minutes since 1.4.7 upgrade.

I've just taken another look at this and found the cause. I've corrected it for the next release.
