I have just upgraded to win 7 x64 and am reinstalling all my software.

I have an HVR 1300 which is running fine and I can control WinTV with the remote.

I've set up GBPVR and have live TV working fine.

I've set remote control type to Hauppauge and clicked the fix 45-button settings on the dvd tab, then stopped & started the irremote service.

GBPVR does not respond to the remote.

I wonder if there's a problem with permission for gbpvr to edit irremote.ini as I'm having trouble doing that too.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd be grateful.

Update:

I inserted the startup string for green power button.
GRNPOWER={run(C:\Progra~2\devnz\gbpvr\PVRX2.exe)}{ sleep(2000)}{findwnd(,GB-PVR)}{fgnwnd()}

Note: Progra~2 cos it's in C:\Program Files (x86)

And this has made the whole config work properly, so all is well.

Further Update:

GBPVR only responds to the remote if I start it with the remote.

Under XP the remote would work regardless.

Hopefully this information will be useful to someone in the future.

Dumb question, but I assume you've got the pvrx2 entry in the irremote.ini? Else I'm guessing it'd do nothing regardless...

It should always send the default commands to the window in focus. I don't recall what the default commands are, but left/right arrows, etc. should work, at least.

I'm fairly sure on my last vista x64 install it did nothing until I updated the irremote.ini... but I could be wrong!
