commercials detected but not skipper over during playback

I have v1.4.7 installed and while it is detecting commercials, it isn't skipping past them during playback. How can I help debug this?

I play the show after it is done recording and detecting commercials. Normally when it encountered a commercial during playback, which is a dark green area on the info bar, it would skip the commercials. It now plays the commercials if I do nothing.

check in config if you have it set to auto skip (misc tab second row second box down)
you can also press play when its in the black bar and it will skip(ctrl+p)

I think 999 can be used to toggle the skip mode too.
