Seems to be a pretty good deal on this card? Will it work with GB-PVR? I couldn't seem to find it on the list. There is a Wonder model but it doesn't seem to be exactly the same.

I think some users have successfully used these ATI 650 based cards in the past. A Hauppauge card would probably be a better choice though.

Why so? It's gonna be a Xmas present for my brother and I know he has the Hauppauge 150. So I wanted to get him an HD version.

It'll probably be fine, but I mentioned it because the majority of users here have Hauppauge cards, and they're only cards I test the application with. If you have any problems, it helps to be in a large crowd of people with the same problem, since its more likely to get fixed.

Hauppauge is also one of the few companies that proactively fixes any driver bugs found in its tuner products.

You can get a Hauppauge HVR-1250 which which would be similar to the 650 or you can get and HVR-2250 which is basically a two 1250s in one card.
