You could do this with the System plugin, however the best way is to set the idle time in Windows itself. So long as you're not actively watching a video, listening to music, recording, etc then the PC will go into standby/hibernate after the desired amount of time has passed. It'll wake automatically if a recording needs to happen.

There is no standby/hibernate buttons in NPVR, but you in the Settings screen you can define custom menu tasks, so you could probably just define a standby or hibernate button, which runs "rundll32 powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState"
