DirecTV enabling HDCP on premium channels

I read an article (http://www.missingremote.com/news/2012-0...m-channels) that DirecTv has already enabled HDCP on HBO and will add others soon. Wonder how long before they HDCP the whole thing? Makes my Collossus sad.

There is also rumor on the above site that they will down res the component out to 540p to "accomodate" older TVs.

I ran into this on HBO already... Oddly, I'm using component out to my Colossus, and I'm still getting the HDCP error.

But I can still record Showtime channels so far.
