darker screen with latest release

I've updated to the latest release. The screen is darker during playback, sometimes not right away. Both old and newer recordings. It's like that problem a while back where I would pause and the entire screen would be darker.

Do you have closed captions enabled?

Must have been, I disabled CC and now the screen is normal. (I tried to enable CC the other day and when it wasn't working I realized you had me rename the ax file, so it was probably toggled on)
I wasn't going to rename NPVRCCExtractor.ax with this build to see if the hang occurs.
