Can You Use WinTV PVR USB-2 FM Radio With GBPVR?

I can't seem to get the FM plugin to work with my WinTV PVR USB-2. When scanning for stations, it never finds any. The FM Radio application supplied by Hauppauge works fine, but I can't use it with my MVP.

I can't seem to get the FM plugin to work with my WinTV PVR USB-2. When scanning for stations, it never finds any.

Hauppauge have indicated that only some models of the various tuners they use, have drivers that will correctly return the SignalPresent() indicator. Those that have a device that wont work with the scan feature, but can obviously still manually add the radio station.

The FM Radio application supplied by Hauppauge works fine,

They use a private mechanism for scanning which is not available to third party apps like GB-PVR.

but I can't use it with my MVP.

You're probably already aware, but to listen to GB-PVR's FM radio on the MVP, you need to have the lame encoder installed: http://www.elecard.com/ftp/pub/directsho..._dshow.zip
