ID3 support in MyMusic?

Reven, is that library a free one?? I use another library I found on some c# forums, and while it seems to support about 90% of the stuff i have, there are few which seem to almost be unicode entries and come out funny.

yeah its a free one, its a seperate dll inside the my music zip file. just add a reference and away you go.

Right, I agree with that. The thing is, all of my players can read it except the MyMusic plugin.

iTunes supports ID3 v. 1.0, 1.1, 2.2, 2.3, and 2.4.

Can anybody confirm which versions MyMusic supports? I'll just change my music to support that tagging system.

I was missing lots of tracks in the MyMusic list. Found it was all the tracks that I ripped with iTunes :mad:

Found that if you go 'Advanced', 'Convert ID3 tags', and choose v2.2 it works with MyMusic.

Will iTunes convert all my music in one go as you describe McBain, as opposed to Winamp where i have to 'copy from' ver 1 to ver 2 for each track?
