My first pvr-350 was also DOA. The second one works fine, though.

Just to check, when you installed the drivers did you also install the driver update, its called PVR250_22_23070.exe. I forgot this on a reinstall once and it had me stumped for a while. It says PVR250 but its for 150, 250, and 350.

Sorry, just noticed, the one for the 150 is pvr150_22_23257.exe

I remembered downloading that from hauppagues website and still no go. i cant even get WinTV2000 to work.. it would just freeze when i'd try to use it. And this is from a clean install of WinXP.. there should be no reason why WinTV2000 would freeze up when its loading. =( maybe i should download the trial version of sageTV or snapstream just to see if my capture card is working...

If it doesn't work under WinTV, then obviously the card, or drivers are at fault.
Perhaps you could lugg the computer to the store where you bought it and have them try to install it or replace it as faulty...

returned the card today and exchanged it for a new one.. everything is now fine. Thanks for the help guys!
