For some recordings that I watch on my MVP, the playback seems to sputter forward and occasionally jump back. when a recording is behaving like that, the comskip won't work and pressing the skip forward and backward are completely unpredictable... the best and can do is use the fast forward and backward options... what causes this behavior? is it the 150 drivers? is the mpg file messed up? what should I look into?

Yeah... I think that may be some of my problem... I didn't have these problems before I updated the drivers... but I also switched to the new dongle... I was occasionally getting no sound with some recordings, which was supposedly fixed with the updated drivers, but I wasn't getting these timing problems like this... I was always wondering what people were talking about... I guess this is what they were getting. I think I will back down the drivers and see what happens...
