jase, what makes you think the password is not being changed? I just tested it remotely on your machine and it seemed to work fine.

I noted the value of <WebPassword> in config.xml, started the config app, changed the password, then clicked OK. When I looked in config.xml at the <WebPassword> setting, it had been successfully changed.

Your right the value in config.xml is changing, im sure when i tried it before it didn't change but it must of been my mistake. The reason i thought it wasn't changing is because i was entering a 6 digit password in config and yet after clicking ok it was still showing 10 digits in config, is that correct if it is im having login problems somewhere.

Thats normal. You'll find many apps with password fields do that.
