Configuration tool will not start ...

Guys, the below two messages keep me from even configuring GB-PVR


When starting the configuration tool, I get an popup window saying Error loading plugin list properly. See the attachment. I installled .NET 2.0 and MDAC as you described in the install instructions. I am runing windows 2000.


When I start the configuration utility I am getting this ugly message:

Also, I cannot save my configuration, GB-PVR will spit a similar message if i try to save my config.

Is this a fresh install? If so, I think Sub recommends copying empty.db3 over gbpvr.db3. IIRC the error is caused by launching GBPVR before the config app has automatically opened after install.

This was a re-attempted install.
Yes. This is the solution. I had to copy empty.db3 to gbpvr.db3 after killing all GB-PVR processes. Many thanks for your help. You may want to add this hint to your distribution documentation or troubleshooting guide.
