I want to tune CATV, not ATSC

I have a Dvico Fusion HDTV 5 Gold. This card works great using the crappy dvico software, as I can tune both ATSC OTA in HDTV channels using my HD antenna, as well as setting it to tune digital and analog cable TV signal when I have it hooked up to my cable service. All that I have to do is select "antenna" or "cable" in the configuration options.

However, GBPVR (and other software) seems to only recognize that the card is capable of OTA ATSC tuning. How can I force it to use my local digital cable service?

Unfortunately Dvico dont support the QAM tuning required for digital cable with their BDA drivers. They fall back to using their proprietary WDM driver when they do digital cable.

The offered to let me know how to use their WDM drivers for the US$1000 - screw that

If you need to digital cable with BDA drivers, then you need the HDHomeRun or OnAir GT devices.

Wow, that's pathetic. They would rather have $1000 than encourage the recommendation and use of their hardware? That's really short sighted from a small company you would think more responsive.
