I am having some differences in the skin/interface behavior after installing 99.12 over 99.5

When I hit menu while watching a recording I:

Hit menu to go back to the main interface, gbpvr correctly displays the video still playing in the window

If I select another plugin (weather, theater, video archiver) gbpvr seems goes back to the video full screen.

I am currently using the advisor skin that was working in 99.5. I went to the default skin and its doing the same thing.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I redid the process and the gbpvr.exe-native.log shows this when it goes back to full screen, this is with the default blue skin:

I was wondering if its something to do with the differences in the screen size and texture size screen 1360x768 vs 720X480

Is it possible to revert back to 99.5 by just running the 99.5 installer or should i do anything precautionary?

No, shouldnt be. I run them at different resolutions.

Sorry, there is no downgrade facility. You'd need uninstall, delete the GB-PVR directory, install old version, restore old v0.99.5 backup of database. You cant copy a database from a new version to an old version.

ok, one last question

I often want to change the skin of the gbpvr stuff and I am a bit confused of which route the gbpvr roadmap is going for custom skins. I was using the Advisor skin as it seemed to be the direction that allowed skinning to be more abstract with the the interchangable theme packs. On the wiki, The Advisor skin seems to be moved over to something new called the BasicSkin

In short, what is the latest suggested route for developing skins for 16x9 installs?

Thanks for the help and the great software

I'm not really sure what you're wanting me to tell you. I currently only supply the default blue skin.
