MCE2005 Remote Skips Menu Options

I have a mce2005 remote that I'm using with GBPVR and HIP. For some reason, it started skipping menu options when I press the up and down arrows on the remote. I was searching the forums and found this thread:

Someone else was having the same problem and it was mentioned that the skipping was occurring because of incorrectly assigned drivers/dll's.

How do I find out what the right ones are and how do I assign the correct ones?

Are you using the HIP alternative drivers for your remote? I think you need to be otherwise both HIP and the default drivers send key presses to GB-PVR resulting in both being processing, looking like the key was pressed twice.

I'm pretty sure I'm using the HIP alternative drivers because I think the HIP tutorial from the Wiki instructs you to set it up that way. However, it appears that I'm using the default drivers too, but how do I tell cause I'm not sure which combination of drivers I'm using? Once I find out which ones I'm using, how do I know which one I should be using...the default drivers or the alternative drivers?
