I can not get GBPVR to play live TV with the new nvidia dualtv card. Playback old recordings works OK. All new recordings have zero size

I get the following error in the native log when tryin to play timeshifed video

Seems there is some error in setting up the audio stream
Also VLC gives an error when trying to connect the audio to play the dshow tuner
MCE is able to play and record live TV

I added all logs and the lastgraph.

Any suggestions?

OK, no help from the comunity so I must be the only one with this problem.
Here is the solution.

There is a problem with NVidia DualTV when you install a version other then English language

Run FilterCheck

Part of the output is

As you can see the pin names are not the same!!!!!!!
Change the in direct.ini to

Sorry, I had meant to reply but forgot to come back to it.

Hauppauge used to change the pin names for localised names in this same way. Luckily they stopped doing this, and this hasnt been a problem since, until now with this device.

I'll see if I can add support for dynamically detecting these pin names in the near future, but for now make sure you make a backup copy the direct.ini file before the next release - so you can reapply these changes easily.

The problem came back after installing 1.0.16

I re-applied the changes to direct.ini but I can not get it to workl

Sorry Erik, I'm not really sure. Can you possibly do a short recording then attach a complete GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log/GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log?

NVidia localizes the pin names. Therefore you have to edit the direct.ini that comes with gbpvr to reflect the localized nVidia dualTV names.

Search in direct.ini for dualtv
Then look at all the pin names listed and compare them with the fulterdump.
Replace the english names with the one listed in the localaized filter dump.

I hope sub decides at some point to ask if it is ok to overwrite the direct.ini, or creates a backup of direct.ini

It founds some channels, but I still can't view pictures from TuningAssistant (it keeps a grey (background) screen)
