Hey everyone,
I'm using a dual usage HTPC (typical usage including switching users so my wife can read email while I us GBPVR on second monitor output). Has anyone found a way to enable the second monitor to output the data that I want while my wife switches over to her role on Windows XP?

Thanks,
Steve

nope...windows won't allow 2 concurrent sessions to be active at once..
your program will run in background, but it won't show you anything, current user has control of all monitors...
Hardware: HDHR Prime, HDPVR 1212, Raspberry pi2, VFD display w/LCDSmartie

Can something like betwin http://www.thinsoftinc.com/product_pc_sh...etwin.aspx be used to accomplish mutli user setup.

Not sure that this really helps but I use sala's terminal server patch for xp sp2 that enables you to run multiple concurrent sessions using remote desktop.

so whilst the family are watching a show on the tv via svideo output (logged in as john), I can connect to the pc using remote desktop as a different user and work as normally.
