While watching a recording in GBPVR I press the pause button an OSD appears at the bottom.

Is there a button I can press to remove the OSD so that while paused I can see the part of the screen obscured by the OSD?

Press the blue key (ctrl-b on keyboard).

That doesn't work. That brings up the OSD when viewing but doesn't hide it while paused (at least it doesn't here).

What version of GB-PVR are you using, and are you running the old GBPVR.exe or the new PVRX2.exe?

With GBPVR.exe when using the regular VMR9 or VMR7 renderers, the OSD cant be updated in any way unless the video is playing. This is a limitation of these renderers not GB-PVR. The VMR9 Custom, VMR9 FSE and Overlay renderers do not have this limitation. I'm guessing you're using VMR9 with GBPVR.exe?

OK. Had to wait for a recording to finish. Just switched to VMR9 Custom and it works a treat.

Are there any disadvantages with VMR9 Custom?

I've also just noticed that the resume option isn't available while recording. Has that always been the case?

I prefer VMR9 Custom, and think it has several advantages, but some others say it doesnt work as smoothly for them.

Nothing has changed in GBPVR.exe. Its the same executable with the same features as it had in v0.99.12.

OK. In that case is there a reason why resume is not available while recording?

As long as 'prompt for resume' is enabled it should work. If you cant get it to work, try using PVRX2.exe. I no longer test or maintain the old GBPVR.exe.
