I know radio is a sore subject but, with Christmas coming I am getting heat from the wife :eek:.

Net radio does not do anything on my main system. The native log shows "VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: MPEG-I Stream Splitter" I installed the Klite codec pack and have checked and found this
"Description: MPEG-1 Stream Splitter
File name: c:\windows\system32\quartz.dll
CLSID: {336475D0-942A-11CE-A870-00AA002FEAB5}
Merit: 00600000 = MERIT_NORMAL

So it looks to me like the splitter is there, but I don't know how to check if it is working. I can open the playlist link with winamp and media player classic and it plays just fine.

I also get this error in the PVRX2 log:

Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
2007-12-15 21:20:53.500 ERROR [13] at DirectShowPlayerBase.playMusicFile(DirectShowPlayerBase* , Char* filename, HWND__* ownerHwnd)

Any ideas? Would you like more logs? FYI, I also unregistered and rereged the filters per another post I found.

I just tried reregistering quartz.dll and that seemed to solve it. There seem to be lots of ghosts popping up lately. Me thinks I need a new-year reload of the entire system.

Did you cut'n'paste the above names? There's a subtle difference between '1' and 'I' (arabic vs. roman numerals). Smile

You mean you registered scflt.ax? If not, do so. Sub forgot to put it in reregisterfilters.bat. It's in this thread: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post245215
