Can you provide support for the new Dvico Fusion HDTV7 Dual Express for both ATSC and QAM? This is a dual HDTV tunner card. I can get GBPVR to work with a single tuner (no PIP or dual recording support) using the HDTV5 gold ATSC only and this does work for over the air, but I would like access to non-encripted QAM and dual tuner.

Is there a simple way to install the drivers into GBPVR? or can you do this with your next update? The drivers can be found at http://www.fusionhdtv.co.kr/ENG/Download/Software.aspx

I am in the USA using a ATI HD3650 video card, Dell P4 2.66 duo cor and the Fusion HDTV Dual Express tunner card (PCI express port) with MCE remort (Fusion remote).

I also have installed GBPVR v1.2.13 and it works fine, but how do you get the program guide to a different day and time? I have a SD account set up.

This is the only advice I have gotten, but I don't know how to add the files:
You have to update the software and drivers on Fusion HDTV. also you have to manual add the tuner inside the BDA.ini and Digital.ini files.

This still does not say if it will work with QAM

I look forward to your help,
Tom

On the QAM front - QAM wasnt covered by the BDA spec until very recently, so most manufacturers use their own proprietary mechanisms for doing QAM. GB-PVR specifically implements support for QAM capable devices from Hauppauge, OnAir GT, Vixs and HDHomeRun. Some other manufacturers devices are similiar enough to these that they work though. For example, some dvico users had indicated their cards worked in GB-PVR for QAM.

Dvico are a crappy company to deal with. They have been unhelpful in the past, and have been unwilling supply any information unless I pay them Rolleyes. Owners of dvico devices will only get it working if there particular devices happen to work the same way as other manufacturers devices QAM implementation.

If you're viewing the TV Guide, you can press the right arrow to scroll forward in time, or press the FF key (Ctrl-F) to jump forward two hours, or press the Skip key (Ctrl-RightArrow) to jump forward a day.

If you run the filtercheck.exe utility in the gbpvr directory, then post the filtercheck.log that gets created, I'll tell the entry that needs to be in the bda.ini file. It should work for ATSC, but may or may not work for QAM.

Too bad a company makes you pay then to get their devices to work. Does not sound like good customer service. To bad they seem to be the only express card with true dual HD tunners. I would thing this could be a good selling point. The Dvico Fusion software is very buggy and constantly crashes. No luck getting any tech service from then. I which I would have known that before I made the purchase. At the time it seamed everyone that would advertise QAM had a notation it does not work in Vista or MCE. Your software seam nice to me so maybe I can live with ASTC and only use one of the two tuners until I learn more about GBPVR. Thanks for your help regardless.

It doesnt really help you since you already have your tuners, but the Hauppauge HVR-2250 should be available soon and is dual Analog/ATSC/QAM tuners, with PCI Express, hardware MPEG2 encoders on the analog tuners, and works well with GB-PVR.

Based on your advice and a better understanding of MPEG2 hardware decoders, I am returning my HDTV7 Fusion Dual PCIe and will purchase the Hauppauge HVR-2250 near the end of June. I like your program and I think I will get better results with the HVR.
Will GBPVR support the HVR-2250 as a dual tuner (Analog & QAM) so you can record 2 programs at the same time? Will there be plans for a PIP within GBPVR?

By the way I have read all the posts from rickyman0319 and he seems to have all the same troubles I have had. I was able to get one tuner to work well with GBPVR using ATSC. I can not get the QAM to work, nore could I get the second tuner to record at the same time. I did change and add the Tuner1 and Tuner2 into the BDM file per the WIKI post of adding new turners.
