First of all thank you for looking and helping.

I can't seem to watch any digital channels and I've been reading many different forums and wikis over the past few days and I still can't figure it out.

Here are my computer specs
2.8GHz Celeron
Intel GMA900 integrated video
500 GB SATA hard drive
1.5 GB RAM
Realtek HD Audio Card
Hauppage Win-TV-HVR 1600
using latest GBPVR

Here are the configuration settings for GBPVR:

PVRX2.exe Video Renderer: VMR9 Custom
GBPVR.exe Video Renderer: VMR9

MPEG-2 Playback:
Video Decoder - MPV Decoder Filter
Audio Decoder - MPA Decoder FIlter
Audio Renderer - System Default

I seem to be able to watch Live TV analog channels but when I try to watch Live TV digital channels I get the message "No tuners are availalbe to watch the requested channel. You can choose to watch one of the currently recording programmes."

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks a ton,
K

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I saw somebody else with a similar problem and you suggested that changing the LiveTV Buffere and Recordings to a different folder, but that didn't seem to help me.

It looks like you havent set up your capture source correctly.

It looks like you've tried to manually enter the tuning information (for example "T:68"), rather than having it scan for it. You need to click the 'map digital channels to epg channels' to initiate the scan.

About 1 1/2 years ago I purchased Hauppauge 1600 and installed into my Pentium 4 2.2Ghz computer. I installed the software which came with it (WinTV) and was waiting in excitment to watch HD channels for the first time. That never happened. The CPU was running at 100% and all I could do is watch it sweat, then take the card out and return it. I bought one again half a year ago, installed in my current PC and it works like a charm.

Are you sure that your computer is up to task for HD?. If yes you should make it work with Hauppauge software first. Then follow http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Confi...HDTVSource, it should get you there.

Good luck.

Thanks for the replies. I've made some good progress since my lost post.

Sub was right on the money when he said that I didn't map my channels correctly. Once I did that it seemed to work fine, but I do notice my CPU running between 80-99% all the time when I'm watching LiveTV. I have my satellite coax out plugged into the analog in to the tuner card and an antenna connected to the digital input of the card to recieve OTA HD. Regardless of which feed I'm trying to watch, it seems to be CPU intensive. I tried to see if there is a difference when I use the MPV codec versus the one that came with the Tuner card but there isn't much of a difference. Are there other configurations I can change or is it just a H/W limitation?

It depends on the decoders you're using and the video renderer. If you're lucky you'll find a combination which uses hardware acceleration features of your video card, which should reduce the CPU usage alot.
