Problem to setup Frontech JIL-0614 (LCD TV BOX)

Hi,

I am the new member in this forum. Few days back I brought a Frontech JIL-0614 (LCD TV BOX) - external TV tuner box. It is a external TV tuner, so I can watch the TV - only with turn on the LCD monitor. But when the computer is in running mode, that time i am not able to watch the TV, or I am unable to properly setup the TV tuner with computer :confused: [unable to sync the TV tuner with running computer].
And 2nd thing is that, I am not able to scan the all the channel manually or normally. It is always shown something like menu :

Fast Scan :
skip : off/on
Sync: TV/Air

Some body can help me regarding all these issue....

I assume you are not trying to use this device with GBPVR?

This is a tuner which can use your LCD monitor as if it was a TV - not a tuner which can be used with a computer for recording (unless use another capture device)

Thanks for your reply ...ok it is very clear to me that if I have to record anything, then I have to use another capture card, but is it possible, that with this tuner can I work with computer and as well as watch the tv ?

If your monitor has multiple inputs, you can connect the computer to one and the tuner to another and then swith between them. Otherwise, you will need some type of switcher.

I not sure if anyone here has this device so we may not be able to help with that question. Pretty much everyone here is using a tuner in the computer since this forum is dedicated to GBPVR.

You might try asking at AVS Forum in the HDTV Reception area: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forumdisplay.php?f=25 since that forum is dedicated to that type of tuner.
