dvb-s subtitles

Are you able to supply a short .ts recording from one of your channels? If so, I'll check it out here.

Did you enable DVB Subtitles and Teletext on the Misc tab in Config app? If so, and it still does not work, have a look in Config.xml and see if <BDAEnableDvbSubtitles>true</BDAEnableDvbSubtitles>
