DVD playback help

I just installed the program and it works great except I can't get the DVD playback to work. I tried loading PowerDVD and changed the playback settings on the DVD remote tab, but I am still getting nothing. In fact, it looks like the program freezes when I select the DVD option to begin playing the DVD. I need some help if anyone knows about this issue.

The freeze may not be a freeze...I often have to hit stop and esc to get out of DVD.

As for not playing, it may be region protection. I had to add an app like DVD Idle to fix.

I had to change the Playback video decoder in Config to get mine to work.
There should be 3 or 4 options in there. Try them all until one works.

I tried those options and it still doesn't work.

Any other ideas?
