Why are you using N Decoder, and I've tried that with GBPVR on another PC that N Video wasn't to happy with it. I still fall back to MainConcepts Encoder/Decoder 1.42 MPEG 1/2. DSCALER5 Decoder is free, but still a bit buggy to use.
Tipstir,
Could you tell me how you got sound? I'm a little lost at to how to set this up so I can get sound. Also I'm not sure where I indicated I was using N Decoder, how the heck can I tell? I would love to use MC Encoder but I'm not going to pay $500 for it.
Stefan,
Thank you! You just cleared something up for me. I was setting that to "Internal Tuner" which explains my recording garbage.
I've seen that other people have had the problem with the same Object Reference error. I'll play around with the live preview and codec settings. Anyone have a suggestion of a free/inexpensive codec I should use for Video/Audio?
Does anyone know if the PVR-500 supports live preview? Also should I be setting up two capture sources (just give them a different board #) for the PVR-500?
