no text for the config program

OK, my hardware just arrived (pvr-500 and mediamvp). For now I decided to do a fresh install on xp sp2 on a 9800xt system.

Everything went fine, and I had all my drivers working just fine. I installed the pvr stuff, the mediamvp stuff, and it all worked (from what I could tell anyway).

Then I downloaded the latest version of gbpvr (see pic 1), and the I noticed that when I went to run the config tool, a bunch of text was "missing" where there should be text. (see pic 2, 3 and 4). I just took 3 pictures to give you an idea as to the problem. The missing text only seems to be within the config program and everything else seems to be functioning properly.

I am somewhat stuck now since I can't proceed since I can't tell what buttons are what

Can someone please have a look at these pics and give me some ideas as to what I can try next? The display drivers are the latest I downloaded from the web.

ok, that is wierd... I just checked again, and all the text is there.... hmm Glad I have a picture of what it *used* to look like. I will conitnue with my install (pvr-500, mediampv, gbpvr and my videos), and see how far I get.

If it happens again, I'd lean towards your .net what version do you have?

I am using 1.1 of .net framework.

Has not occured again since I did the screenshots Let's hope it stays that that
