Is this related to this thread?

This is a known problem when downloading from this forum using IE. Install firefox to fix the problem.

Just an update for sub regarding the latest index patch. It works GREAT for me.

I also changed the number of days for EPG data a few days ago to go from 3 to 15 for 150 channels. So far both the guides are just as responsive (or at least very close). The reason I say very close, is that I think there may have been some impact on the guides, however I have seen that channel changing seems to have been impacted slightly. There is a slightly longer delay between channels.

I found this thread trying to solve the problem discussed in the thread:

1. after starting gbpvr (on the mvp) it take about 30 sec to load the epg (even in the backround). In the meantime the cpu load is very high so that starting liveview or any other plugin causes the mvp to restart.

2. every two hours (epg reload?) while watching tv (mvp) the show stops, falling back into tvguide screen. But it takes some seconds before you can press watch again. Otherwise the mvp crashes because of the slow server response (high cpu load)

Yes, the issue discussed in this thread was fixed. The very first release of GB-PVR which included SQLite support needed an additional two database indexes to be created. All releases since then have included those indexes.

How many channels have you got, and how many days of listings?

What CPU do you have in your machine?

Start the app, leave it for a minute, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and I'll take a look.

Because there is no pvrx2.exe.log I send the mvp-pvrx2.exe.log. I only watch tv via mvp.

That MVP log doesnt show an MVP connect, instead its waiting for a connection. It wont load the EPG until the MVP connects, so I'd need to see another log with a connection occurring.
