Another resource is the local forum area at AVS http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forumdisplay.php?f=45
With a little luck someone there might know exactly what and where the available enencrypted channels are to be found in your area.

Thanks for the link, but I checked and came up empty handed. I was looking for Hagerstown, MD, but the closest was Baltimore, MD and they did not have my provider.

Are you currently subscribing to your cable company's Cable plan that is more than the basic 20 channels? I know for certain that the QAM channels are carried in the upper channel range and if you aren't subscribing to a cable package with the channels above 30, you won't get the clear QAM channels.

I am subscribing to the "Extended Basic" package. From there they have a digital package, and a premium package.

Kean, the problem is that you probably do not have the right frequencies in your qam.ini file in GBPVR. I had the same issue with finding the right frequencies. The most helpful thing that helped me find everything was to use TSReaderLite to find all the frequencies that have video. It will do an initial scan and pull channel numbers that won't coorespond to your cable channels. You then tune to each channel manually (causes you to have to close and open TSREADERLITE to tune to each channel). As you tune each channel it will pull multiple video channels. After you find all the the channels that contain video you want you can find the frequencies. The frequencies in TSREADERLITE are off from what goes into GBPVR you need to add 1750MHZ.

This wiki page (from MythTV) has some good information for some areas (including mine) on what channels I should get as QAM and what frequencies: http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Wor...ble_layout and then what channels they actually are.

Do you know of any way to get the frequencies for these? I see additional channels I did not get but since it doesn't show the frequency I don't know how to add them to GBPVR.

Remember these lists become outdated quite fast, so just because something is showing doesn't mean it is current.

Actually, my issue is that I have a bunch that GB-PVR Scans as 0 000 (00)... or something similar so I can't figure out which frequency each one is even though I know they're in 103.X and 105.X, any ideas?
