any one having this problem running with gbpvr as the shell?

I don't knoiw if I ever updated before, only ran a few days, but since setting it up to load as a shell I don't get updates Sad east coast of the US aswell.

new account with zap2it, so I don't think thats the problem.

Hi guys,

Just reporting back here... my computer now seems to update fine after changing the time of the update from 3 am to 6 am. I hope anyone having this problem tries that first before anything drastic! Cheers and thanks GBPVR!

Same here. I switched the update time to 7:00 am and it has been updating correctly sine 10-30.

Just renewed my subscription to Zap2it and at the end of the survey the following question/statement shows up which may explain everyone's findings:

Most Zap2it Labs users have scheduled their download to occur in the middle of the night/early morning (12:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Central time). This creates a concurrency problem.

We would appreciate it if you would schedule your downloads for late morning, afternoon, or evening, as this will (a) reduce load on our servers, and (b) give you improved performance.

This isn't a question! Why am I selecting a choice?
Because we just want to emphasize the point that rescheduling your downloads for 9 a.m. to midnight (Central) will improve everyone's lives.
Okay, sounds good!
