TV Guide - Zero Size Error

OK, I can't find anything strange (ie: 0 length) in the listing DB. There are some overlapping listings at the error time, but this happens elsewhere and does not cause the error.

Error does not occur with Olbia and FBHV skins.
Error does occur with Blue skin (x=120, y=45, w=0, h=25).
Error does occur with ContourHC skin (x=83, y=55, w=0, h=20).

Current cause of error is at 11pm on 3/15.
Error does not occur if you skip or ff/rw so 11pm is at right or left of grid.
Error occurs when you move right or left to put 11pm in middle of grid.

I just had this happen w/ the new GB and default skin...I was just scrolling around tomorrow night:

I can reproduce it at the moment...I just need to go past 10pm tomorrow night. Going to try to update EPG.

Update: Didn't help. I found those same kind of records w/ just the end date, and not date/time. The time I can trigger it at, 10-11 Wed, has those.

But, not all of these no-time instances causes it. It also doesn't matter where i the guide you are, or if you go into it, or back into it. I just scanned the whole thing, and it's only Wed, 3/15, 11pm-12am that causes it.

I'll have to check mine later. It's funny that it was same time/day for you, too. Same part of country....do you have Comcast? Otherwise, I'll assume it could be any CATV channel we all have. Did you restart or run EPG? I did the latter, but no help (even a full dump/reload).

I have Adelphia (soon to be Comcast). Full EPG reload did not resolve it last night. I suspected an overlap of Black.White. on FX, but that's still there and the error is gone, so, go figure.

Luck you it seems. Not fixed here.

I imagine when that block passes it will be ok, but I don't like that it could happen randomly like this. Since it's just the guide using the default skin, and it has to do w/ some combo of the grid and EPG error, I'd expect other folks to hit it as some point.

Looking at the error, it read like there's a show in there w/ a 0 length by error/accident, and there's no error handling for it. If GB could handle the 0 size, then it wouldn't be a problem in the future. I guess the real problem is if it's some EPG problem, and it can create a show w/ the same start/end (0)

I went in through XGuide, and it seems better able to handle whatever is effecting the normal guide. I was able to see the 11-12 block that throws the error, but there's nothing remarkable to see. But, it the problem is it's trying to generate a 0 (or negative) block, and XGuide has error handling for it, it may not be visable.

I think the bottom line is if you run into this problem, use XGuide or avoid scrolling through the effected time.
