Hello,
The parameter "true" for UseHigherPriority in the "config.xml" provides a priority "AboveNormal" which is insufficient in my case, I need a high priority (START / HIGH) for everything to work well so, where can I change this setting to have a high priority? thank you very much

perhaps this will help you: http://gilchrist.ca/jeff/SetPriority/index.html
(I'm not claiming I've used this, I just figured there had to be a program that could modify a program's process priority... there are probably others)

ok I am looking the setting for NPVR not for GBPVR, the service was a priority NRecord.exe "AboveNormal" too low on my computer and there is the pixelation and sound off when I use other programs while recording . I can manually change the priority to HIGH but it would be easier to do at startup.
thank you @johnsonx42 This solution is not functional with a software service thank you PS Can I republish my application in the section NPVR, the search led me to this publication.

I must ask, why do you need it set so high? You shouldnt need this from the recording service.

yeah, it sounds like something is wrong elsewhere in Windows.

I use Prio (http://www.prnwatch.com/download.html) to remember what priority I have set for processes. You set process priority in Task manager as normal, and it keeps them there.
Seems to do what it says, in XP at least. Haven't tried it in Vista/Win7 |
