Somehow it became unplugged so I plugged it back in but it still doesn't seem to be helping.

Are you sure its functioning? Assuming you've still got the same error, I'm guessing not.

Am I sure the usb uirt is functioning? Well I have no idea because I can't do anything if gbpvr doesn't work. So I have no way of checking. I mean I probably do have some way but I don't know how. All I know is it worked before my computer was formatted and not now.

I remember I had to do something online with USB UIRT but I can't find the piece of paper that came with the device originally that had the address on it. Perhaps I need to do that again. I find it strange that the cause of my problem is USB UIRT related.

GB-PVR is not very fault tolerant if you configure it for hardware that is not present. It'll go ahead and try to use the hardware. If its not there, you can get all sorts of unexpected behaviour.

Hrm... Well, I no longer get that error message I was getting that caused the problem, thanks to your heads up on the usb uirt issue. But when hit "live TV" in GBPVR, I just get snow, no matter what channel I put it on. No error messages, but no picture either. I'm not sure what else to tell you. I will upload another zip of my logs if that will help.

Thanks for your help

"snow" implies you're not tuned to a correct channel.

What input are you using on your capture device? tuner/svideo/composite? Are you using a set top box? You solution most likely lays somewhere in the answers to those questions.

I'm using S Video to go from Bell Express Vu 2700 to Win TV USB 2 (According to my computer it says Win TV is working fine) and then to my usb 2.0 on my pc. It may be something really stupid by I can't for the life of me figure out what it is.

When you view through Hauppauge WinTV2000 software, do you see the channels clear, or same snow?
