Thanks Sub I'll check tonight when home.
I dont know why the name of the pin appeared translated in italian but... mistery of translations!

I also tweaked bda.ini and direct.ini as you suggested. Worked!

It worked!
At first screen saw only garbage and no audio, but since I have two cards Installed inverting the board number solved all things.
After a configuration config probably messed up the settings.
I'll investigate.

Looking into lastgraf I've found that Crossbar WDM is from board #1 and the Capture from board #2 that's the problem!
If you want to have a look I could try with UltraVNC I'm going to send you a PM with the place where my my IP address is updated.

Test have been done:
  • unistalled all drivers
  • left only one HVR card
  • reinstalled drivers
  • All working

  • plugged second card
  • system kept drivers
  • messed again

Posted a thread at Hauppauge UK forum while trying new possible solution (modify .inf file or else?)

So how did you end up? Sounds very much like a problem I was having.

The problem dfdario was having related to an odd driver behaviour that was occurring with two HVR-1300s in the same machine. More specifically, the various components used for controlling each capture card seemed to be in a mixed up order (ie, first crossbar filter was from first card, second crossbar filter was from second card...but first capture filter was from second card, and second capture filter was from the second card). This caused GB-PVR to try to connect components from one card with components from the other...causing a failure.

The problem could only have affected HVR-1300 users who had multiple of these devices, but even then I'm not sure other users would even see the same problem. I suspect something didnt go cleanly when the drivers were installed for the first time on his machine. I've never see another user with this probelm (regardless of type of capture card).

I was seeing the same "connect pins failed" problem. I was without fail ending up with empty recordings.

I might bang in a second drive and have another attempt at getting this up and running.

Ok. If you do try again, zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.
