That fixed it. Snes addition works really well.
Do you guys manage to play mame games without a keyboard?
It would be cool to get the remote to enter the coins and the start 1 start 2 button.

I use a USB to Playstation adaptor and then a playstation gamepad to play all games except amiga games where I use a digital USB joystick, bought of Trademe (NZ ebay equivalent) this provides me with a 'select' button that I use mapped to coins and a 'start' button.

I could add it to the wishlist if enough people are interested, the main issue is that there are only a very small number of remote control keys that ca be used with the method I have in mind as GBPVR needs to pass it to the emulator.

Certainly in Mame I could map a couple of unused buttons to the start and coins, but I think I would have to do it for each game in the TAB menu. With a lot of games that would get pretty tiring.

In Mame I used the TAB and I only had to do it once, I cant check right now as the kids are using it but I may hve don it in the GENERAL setting on the TAB menu I certainly didnt set it up for each of the thousends of games I have. I have it also set up the same in Zinc which also has the same request for coins

I'll check that out. I use the controller setup per game. The default gave some sort of error that flashed by very quickly. I think it said default.cfg not found, or something like that.
I understand the 1000's of game thing. I culled out 20 or so that I like from my mame machine and put them on the pvr.

You were right. That worked setting up a couple buttons to do the start and coin. They applied to all the games. Cool. Thx.

The Default option allows an advanced user to set up a common /ctrlr file called default.cfg and all games will use that one file for their controller configuration.

There is still a little weirdness with zsnes. I can't figure out what exactly triggers the behavior, but occasionally after exiting another emulator, I will go to the zsnes emulator and an error message will pop up that basically indicates the collection must be non-negative - In other words it can't find any roms. I'll exit the screen, and re-enter and then it will see the roms. I can't get it to do it consistently, but it does happen somehow.
I'll see if I can figure out when it happens. Just giving you a heads-up something is strange.

Nice job on the plug-in! I have ZNes and Fusion working fine but I can't get the MAME up and running. In the config I setup MAME and the Rom directory and when I press the Build Rom Database I get an error box stating an Unhandled Exception error. I have attached a screenshot and the error log. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Keep up the great work!

yeah, I get this too, but it's not just zsnes. I've seen the pop up after exiting and reopening mame and epsxe rom lists too....
