The plot thickens. When getting the channel numbers from the HVR-4000 and putting them into the PVR-150MCE capture source settings I get sound but no picture on the respective channels in GBPVR.

i know you said it works in media centre but what driver are you using
if you do a recording and play it back in media player what happens

plays and records fine in Media centre.

i will reword
do a recording in gbpvr and then play it back in media player or even better vlc player

if it were me i would load a different driver (i know it works in media centre i dont care)

you havent used sage tv have you ?

Try viewing live tv, then zip and attach the PVRX2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Logs attached. The channel I am using is Juice TV.

Nothing happens when I press record on this channel.

did you end up with a file ?

Ok, I just tried a manual recording again and it worked. The mpg file played back fine. Yet when going to live TV there is still no picture.
