Similar empty folder behaviour for me too.

I've never seen GBPVR delete an empty folder, I just assumed it was a manual housekeeping task I needed to do periodically.

I have autocreatefolders set true in config.xml.

OK, I'm home. I am running 1.3.7 and I can confirm that Sub is correct.... when I tested it, it deletes the empty folder when I do a quick record, and then delete the recording from within GBPVR.

That said, I often find empty folders so there is something we aren't understanding. Is it possible that GBPVR only deletes an empty folder if there are no pending recordings of the same name?

Well, so much for that theory. I just deleted two recordings with more pending and GBPVR deleted the empty folder.

Ok I've just been proven wrong too.....

Tried it on my new "in development" server with 1.3.11 and it deletes empty folders....

Back to my production 1.2.13 machine and it doesn't delete empty folders.

Did something change between these versions to add the functionality?

This functionality has been the same for years, and I'm not aware of any issues with it. When a recording is deleted it checks if there are any files left in the directory, and if there arent, then it tries to delete the directory.

If you've got something using a file in the directory, or has the directory open (like directory open in Windows Explorer), then it can fail to delete the directory, and it wont try again.

I guess that could explain my experience. It is possible that after I manually deleted the files in some folders, explorer was still open when I started GBPVR the next time. I'll try to pay more attention......

FWIW, 1.3.7 has been the only version on the server.

I'm trying to run gbpvr on a windows 7 32-bit installation (can't find a driver for my graphic card for 64-bit), but the screen just freezes when I try to start pvrx2 and I see no menue. I can't use vmr9 render (not supported) so I tried both evr and overlay, but the result is the same. I'v installed the redist. C-package and enabled net-framework in the control panel.

Am I missing something vital?

Can you also post your pvrx2.exe-native.log?

What video card are you using?

Yeah, thats my guess. Its a very old card. I had one of those in back in the 1990's, so its about 10 years old. Its probably not up to the task.
