I am sorry to jump in, but I have almost the same problem and I didn't get how you fixed it. I am using an HD HomeRun on VISTA with TV PACK and I used all of the instructions here:

I chose the XMLTV plugin as EPG source. I mapped the digital channels and enabled a couple of them just for trying (I can see the channels I selected in the small test window). I created the xmltv.xls file by hand right now and it contains all of the info, but when I run PVRX2 and I click on TV GUIDE I don't get anything....

EDIT: I do have a schedules direct account

On Vista try deleting the "C:\Users\<your account>AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Devnz" directory.
